I am looking for a way to be inshape, but I am bored with the gym. The machines, the weights, the ab mats, the smells, everything just has me feeling blah. The sad thing is I know I have to do some type of exercise to be toned. While eating well aids me, I still must exercise in some way, shape or form. Keep in the back of your head, that up to this point the only bikes I have ever rode have been a Huffy and a mountain bicycle that I think was a Raleigh. He decided to let me try out a dated road bike and I fell in love! Nah, not with him or the bike, but with road biking. The outdoors, the landscape, the variation of hills and straight-aways. Moments of enjoying the breeze blowing against my face and then moments soliciting for one guiding me up a hill. It was a welcomed distraction and challenging. I was in charge and it was a phenomenal feeling. I chose how long to ride and where to go. No gym trainer yelling at me or some person waiting to see when I am done with my set. It was peaceful and ridiculous at the same time. I felt my whole body moving like a machine and I knew that the next day could kick my butt, but it was so worth it! That is when I established that it was the perfect opportunity for me to dive in and obtain a discount road bike.

Once I felt that I would get myself a road bike, I had do some investigating. Research is always a good idea when you are going to make a pretty important purchase.
